The Financial Accountant will act as the Finance Director’s key number two, taking ownership of core finance processes and ensuring the finance function runs smoothly, accurately, and on time.

Initially, the focus will be on strong execution: maintaining clean accounts, running month‑end, managing purchase ledger, payroll, VAT, audit preparation, cashflow reporting, and supporting budgets and projections.

Over time, the role is expected to broaden into more commercial finance, forecasting, analysis, and decision‑support work as the business scales.

This role would suit a newly qualified or recently qualified accountant who is hands‑on, technically strong, organised, and comfortable working in a fast‑moving growth business. We would also consider an exceptional part‑qualified or qualified‑by‑experience candidate with the right capability and attitude.

• Within the first 6–12 months the successful candidate will have taken ownership of month‑end close and management accounts.
