Due to our continued growth, we’re looking for a Tax Consultant to join our dynamic and supportive tax team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing experience and take the next step in their corporate tax career, working with a varied client portfolio in a collaborative and forward‑thinking environment.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering high‑quality corporate tax services, managing compliance work, supporting advisory projects, and building trusted client relationships. You’ll also have the opportunity to grow your technical expertise and develop a specialism, all while contributing to an exceptional client experience.

What does the role include?
  • Assisting with the corporate tax compliance affairs for a portfolio of clients, including preparing tax computations and returns
  • Advising clients on payment deadlines, monitoring compliance schedules, and ensuring timely submissions
  • Preparing tax accounting schedules and tax returns
  • Supporting the preparation of corporate advisory reports, technical notes, and client communications while identifying tax planning opportunities and supporting clients with tax‑efficient advice, including the use of relevant reliefs
  • Attending client meetings, providing updates, and liaising with HM Revenue & Customs
  • Establish a professional and confident working relationship with clients, dealing with telephone/email enquiries timeously, escalating queries as appropriate, in order to enhance the Firm’s reputation and business opportunities
  • Coaching and supporting junior members of the team on a day‑to‑day basis
Now, let’s talk about you!
  • ATT qualified with relevant practice experience is essential
  • Solid understanding of tax legislation, compliance processes, and corporate tax computations
  • Comfortable using tax software such as CCH and Alphatax, alongside strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Must be able to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels from a variety of sectors
  • Client driven and commercially aware
  • Organised with the ability to cope with multiple responsibilities within tight deadlines
  • Sound technical knowledge with proactive approach to CPD
  • Must be able to demonstrate a commitment to high standards of both personal and professional performance with the ability to take ownership of tasks
  • Computer literate with experience of accounts production software desirable
