Due to our continued growth, we’re looking for a Tax Senior to join our talented and supportive tax team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced tax professional to take ownership of a client portfolio, deliver high-quality corporate tax services, and play a key role in shaping client relationships and developing junior team members.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing corporate tax compliance, supporting advisory work, and contributing to the wider success of the tax function — all while helping to deliver a truly exceptional client experience.
The Role Is Varied, and Responsibilities Include- Managing corporate tax compliance for a portfolio of clients, including preparing and reviewing tax computations and returns
- Advising on tax deadlines and ensuring timely submissions and payments
- Acting as a key client contact, handling queries and providing clear, practical advice
- Supporting corporate tax advisory work, including drafting reports and identifying planning opportunities
- Preparing tax accounting schedules and working closely with audit and internal teams
- Liaising with HMRC to resolve client matters
- Delegating, reviewing, and overseeing work completed by junior team members
- Coaching and mentoring junior staff to support their development
- CTA qualified with relevant practice experience is essential
- Excellent technical knowledge of corporate tax legislation and compliance requirements
- Comfortable using tax software such as CCH and Alphatax, alongside strong Microsoft Office skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios and meet deadlines to a high standard
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters clearly and confidently
- Experience reviewing work and providing guidance to junior team membersA client-focused and commercially aware approach to delivering tax services
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Proactive mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities and add value to client relationships
