We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Finance Manager to join NHS Tayside at a pivotal time for public sector finance.
This is a high-impact leadership role, offering the opportunity to shape financial strategy, influence decision-making, and directly support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services across the region.
About the roleReporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring robust financial management and supporting strategic priorities across clinical and corporate services.
You will:

- Lead the delivery of a high-quality financial management service
- Act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders
- Support the development and implementation of financial strategies
- Drive financial sustainability and performance improvement
- Lead and develop a motivated finance team
This is a dynamic role in a complex environment, ideal for someone who thrives on challenge and influence.
About youWe are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

- Significant experience in a finance leadership role
- Strong understanding of financial management and planning
- Ability to influence and work effectively with senior stakeholders
- Experience of leading and developing teams
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- CCAB qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience with in the NHS or wider public sector
- Work at the heart of strategic decision-making
