An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Tayside for an individual to lead and work within the Risk and Resilience Planning Department to ensure the delivery of Risk Management & Resilience Planning priorities for the organisation. This role is a pivotal component of a highly skilled team and provides the opportunity to:

Responsibilities
  • lead on projects and initiatives
  • develop, deliver and evaluate training/exercises
  • support the team in demonstrating compliance with national standards
  • engage widely with multi disciplinary colleagues to secure engagement and develop service level risk registers
  • communicate effectively with a variety of multi-agency partners to achieve partnership working
  • contribute to the development and delivery of an improvement plan to support a single system risk management function, system and processes
Additional information about the role

Any applicant will be conversant with improvement methodology skills and possess the ability to utilise a range of data analysis and report writing skills as the role involves collating information and contributing to the compilation of reports for various groups, committees and agencies including Scottish Government.

Applicants should have extensive working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database software. Numerical, statistical and analytical skills, along with facilitation experience and good presentation skills, both written and oral are required. Effective interpersonal and communication skills in addition to the ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines are essential.

Hours of work are: 37 hours per week
