An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Child Health Occupational Therapy Service for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist – 37 hours per week / 1wte. The post holder will work as a specialist Occupational Therapist based in Ninewells Hospital Acute Team.
The Occupational Therapy Service provides a three tiered model of service delivery to support children and young people’s occupational performance. You will be based in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee and will be required to work flexibly across NHS Tayside within Ninewells Hospital in-patient services, outpatient settings, schools and community settings.
We are looking for an individual who has good communication skills, leadership skills, and has the ability to work as part of a team. Applicants should have an Honours Degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy and relevant post graduate training / experience.
The post will offer the post holder the opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative service and play an instrumental role in continuing to develop the service to meet the needs of the children and young people in Tayside.
