This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with some experience of working with children. We are recruiting to our combined child health physiotherapy team. The post involves rotating between various in-patient and out-patient settings throughout Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire, including Royal Aberdeen Children’s Hospital (RACH) and the Child Development Teams. Previous experience in working with children and young people is essential.

The successful candidate will be involved in the assessment and treatment of children of all ages with a wide variety of conditions including MSK, neurological, neuromuscular, rheumatology, orthopaedic, post-surgical, developmental, complex needs and respiratory. Support will be given by the wider physiotherapy team, including from a team of experienced senior staff through close team working, formal and informal supervision in the context of a multi-disciplinary approach.

As RACH is a teaching hospital and has a wide range of specialist services, some covering the whole of the North of Scotland, we offer opportunities for personal and professional development. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the respiratory on call rota with occasional weekend working.
