With effect from 01 April 2026, NHS Scotland is reducing its full-time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week, there will be no change in full time pay.

We are excited to have an opening for an experienced registered nurse to work as an integral member of the Home Ventilation Team. They will be responsible for providing information, support and specialist nursing interventions to maximise the quality of life of patients who have chronic respiratory conditions, in particular COPD, Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome, Type Two Respiratory Failure, Home Oxygen therapy and Non Invasive Ventilation therapy.

The post also involves supporting/educating other healthcare professionals from a respiratory perspective across the organisation. The Home Ventilation team also care for patients with neuromuscular conditions such as Motor Neurone Disease.

The service is based in secondary care, providing support in both Ninewells Hospital and Perth Royal Infirmary (PRI), so the willingness to work across both sites is a requirement.

The post holder will have a workload that includes clinics both face to face and virtual, home visiting and inpatient work across Ninewells Hospital and PRI.
