A permanent opportunity has arisen for the post of Maintenance Supervisor to join our Buildings Team within NHS Tayside, based at Ninewells Hospital. The role assists the Maintenance Manager(s) to meet operational and strategic objectives within NHS Tayside.

• Recognised Apprenticeship, HNC or ONC, City & Guilds, SVQ/NVQ with relevant experience.

• Supervise staff under their remit, monitoring timekeeping and discipline, timesheets, job dockets, and compiling wage sheets and holiday requests, as well as recording sickness and absence.
• Issue and control job request/card distribution and return, recording all appropriate information and authorising/signing for all changes.
• Coordinate the work of different trades to ensure work is carried out effectively.
• Plan maintenance activities (including staff rotas and overtime works), allocating staff, materials and transport, and assist in minor work planning and preparation of materials lists.
• Participate in an on‑call rota and be able to travel between NHS sites.

You will be required to achieve the mandatory induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
