Dispenser – Levenwick Health Centre ()

Applications are invited for a Dispenser development post in Levenwick Health Centre. The Levenwick Practice is a salaried General Practice, providing medical services to a population of approximately 2,500 patients.

You will initially be appointed at Band 2 level (Salary range £26,696 – £29,988 per annum pro‑rate) and undertake Dispensary training (Support Staff Course for Dispensing Assistants). Successful completion of the training will lead to a Band 3 designation.

32 hours per week.

Band 3 Salary Range: £29,103 – £31,409 per annum (pro‑rate)*.

Distant Islands Allowance: £2,578 per annum (pro‑rate).

• Comply with the Induction Standards and Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers within 3 months of commencing your role.

• Right to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship.
• Entitlement to work in the UK will be verified as part of pre‑employment checks.
• Preferred candidates will be required to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or complete a PVG update prior to a formal offer.

• As from 01/04/2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rate, with a corresponding increase in the hourly rate to keep pay unchanged.
