NHS Tayside has recently developed their Digital Strategy and at the heart of this lies an ambition to have a Data centre Infrastructure team at the pinnacle of technical excellence which can be used as an example to others. This is an exciting time to join NHS Tayside Digital Directorate as the Data centre Team are key to day-to-day patient care and we are going through a period of Service improvement and modernisation which will lead to further opportunities within the directorate.

• Is highly motivated, highly skilled, working in high frequency time critical environments.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Interested in technology.
• Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux, Nutanix, Cloud.
• Is a good problem solver.
• Doesn’t mind writing documentation.
• Doesn’t mind variance as this is an Infrastructure role, tasks may not always be identified.
• Ideally Degree/HND Certified and or have previous experience + in an ICT environment.

• You get the chance to work on a wide array of projects, issues and BAU Work.
• Flexible working, this is a full-time post (37 hours per week), with participation on an Out of Hours Call rota.
• The Digital Team are currently based in Mac Kenzie Building, Dundee, however there is some flexibility, with the team working remotely at times.
• Training – Various courses are provided as well as Certification in select Microsoft Products.
• You will be part of a strong team with a strong team ethic.
