Job Overview1 post – Less Than Full Time, 4 PAs / 16 hours.
The Renal Service for Tayside is based in Dundee and is currently delivered by a team of eleven consultants. We are looking to appoint an innovative, forward‑thinking colleague to join the team to provide dialysis care to our Ninewells out‑patient dialysis patients. The Renal Service covers Angus, Tayside, Perth and Kinross and part of Northeast Fife. This post is based at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, and will contribute to the care of patients receiving chronic out‑patient dialysis.
Responsibilities- Provide dialysis care to Ninewells out‑patient dialysis patients.
- Conduct medical review of 4 dialysis shifts over 2 days each week.
- Collaborate with an advanced nurse practitioner, the renal multi‑disciplinary team and primary care.
- Contribute regularly to the dialysis multi‑disciplinary team meeting.
- Work directly with the three consultants responsible for the Ninewells dialysis cohort of patients.
- MRCP.
- GMC registered.
Hours of work are 16 hours / 4 PAs per week.
