Relief Care Worker

As a Relief Care Worker, you'll support older people to live with dignity, independence and comfort. You'll work across shifts as needed, helping residents with daily routines, personal care and companionship while providing high-quality support when it's needed most. Whether you're experienced in care or looking for a new direction, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

• Support residents with personal care and day-to-day living
• Assist with meals and promote nutrition and hydration
• Encourage independence and individual choice
• Help residents remain active and engaged in daily life
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families
• Work as part of a team to deliver person‑centred care
• Maintain accurate records and follow care procedures

• SVQ Level 3 in Social Services and Healthcare, or willingness to work towards it
• Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme
• Registration with the Social Services Council (SSSC) and maintenance of standards
• Ability to work in the UK and hold the appropriate permission to work
• Kind, dependable, adaptable to different situations and shifts, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
