NHS Tayside is offering a paid placement as a Project Support Officer. Bring your planning, coordination, and communication skills into a healthcare setting — and make a meaningful impact.

About the Role:

NHS Tayside’s People and Culture Directorate has an opportunity to recruit a Project Support Officer to take forward a planned programme of work. As Project Support Officer, you will provide high-quality administrative and project support across a range of EDI programmes, projects and work streams. You will work closely with the Programme Manager and wider Corporate Equalities team to help ensure projects are coordinated effectively, milestones are tracked, meetings are well managed, and project documentation is maintained to a high standard.

The role will involve engaging with a wide variety of stakeholders across NHS Tayside, supporting communication and engagement activities, and contributing to reporting and monitoring processes.

Main

Responsibilities Include:
  • Providing project and administrative support across a range of NHS Tayside’s EDI projects and programmes.
  • Coordinating meetings, workshops and engagement events, including preparation of agendas, papers, minutes and presentation materials.
  • Maintaining project and programme documentation, action trackers, risk logs and monitoring information.
  • Supporting data collection, reporting and analysis activity.
  • Supporting stakeholder engagement activities across NHS Tayside and with relevant external bodies.
  • Monitoring project timelines and escalating issues or risks appropriately.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement and effective team working across the department.

Placement duration: 6 months

Hours of Work: 36 hours per week

Current NHS Tayside Employees – Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
