Employment Type: Part-time 22.5 HPW and Full-time 37.5 and 45 hours per week
Base Salary: Up to £13.45 per hour
Essentials: The ability to drive is essential for this post due to service location; T1 bus stop is outside the service
Qualifications: Full Training provided;
Higher rate for QCF Level 2 qualified candidates

Join our passionate team at M&D Care as a Support Worker in Pencader SA39 9HS
and make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults. As a Support Worker, you’ll provide emotional and practical care in a residential setting. No experience is necessary as full training will be given, but having the right values is important to us. The T1 bus stop is directly outside the service.
M&D Care are an established family-oriented business, which is run by a passionate team of professionals who deliver specialist, complex and bespoke care services throughout Southwest Wales for people with Learning Disability, Physical Disability and Mental Health needs.
Role and Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities.
- Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and shopping.
- Promote independence, dignity, and well‑being through engaging and meaningful activities.
- Work autonomously while maintaining the safety and respect of those you support.
- Comply with regulatory standards set by Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales.

- A variety of contracted hours available (22.5 to 45 hours per week)
- Shift patterns vary and include weekends and night shifts on a rota basis
- No prior experience required – full training provided
- Opportunity to gain a QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care after probation, with full support

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Must be aged 18 or over
