This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for seasoned healthcare data professionals who know what good governance looks like — and can help AI get it right.

• Evaluate and inform governance frameworks that ensure hospital health data is accurate, consistent, and secure
• Review clinical and operational data workflows to identify gaps in quality, compliance, or policy alignment
• Apply your knowledge of healthcare privacy and regulatory standards — including HIPAA — to assess and validate data handling practices
• Work across clinical, IT, and compliance domains to identify how cross‑functional data policies should be structured
• Provide structured, expert‑level feedback on data governance scenarios, policies, and documentation
• Complete task‑based assignments independently on your own schedule

• Experienced in healthcare data governance, data management, or clinical data operations
• Strong working knowledge of healthcare privacy, compliance, and regulatory frameworks — particularly HIPAA
• Able to think cross‑functionally across clinical, technical, and administrative domains
• Detail‑oriented and methodical — you spot inconsistencies others miss
• Clear and concise written communicator who can document findings and reasoning effectively
• Self‑motivated and reliable when working independently

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or clinical data review systems
• Background in health informatics, clinical operations, or healthcare IT
• Familiarity with EHR platforms, data warehousing, or interoperability standards such as HL7 or FHIR
• Experience supporting regulatory audits or accreditation processes
