We are looking for a confident Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You’ll be working 42 hours a week (12‑hour shifts, day and night) and will be making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Wallace Hospital, an 18‑bed specialist high‑dependency complex care service in Dundee.

Job responsibilitiesDay‑to‑day duties include:
- Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach to all service users.
- Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
- Learn about each individual’s specific needs and assist in the most appropriate way.
- Assist with medical and welfare needs.
- Report on medical and welfare needs as required.
- Safeguard and maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
- Starting pay of £13.61 per hour, £13.81 per hour post‑probation, increasing to £14.01 per hour at 18 months.

Successful candidates will need:
- Current Knowledge, Attitude and Practice (KAP) competency for working with people with learning disabilities.
- Appropriate statutory or professional qualifications, such as HPB, CT, CILEx, NCC, or equivalent.
- Experience working in a complex care environment, preferably with learning disabilities and/or autism.
- Good safeguarding and health and safety awareness.
- Strong communication and team working skills.
- Responsive, flexible and proactive approach to change.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced PVG check.
