• Interact politely with guests – greet them, say “thank you” and “goodbye”
• Service bedrooms and all other areas of the hotel in line with standard operating procedures
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks as required
• Follow correct procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Monitor cleaning supplies and notify the manager when more are needed
• Store all laundry correctly and complete relevant documentation
• Adhere to stock‑control procedures and maintain security of stock at all times
• Report any security issues, safety hazards, accidents, incidents or maintenance issues to the manager on duty
• Complete required induction, role‑specific and ongoing refresher training and contribute to continuous improvement
