Job DescriptionThe Duty Manager is responsible for the effective management of the theatre during performances and events, acting as a senior member of staff on duty. The post holder will supervise front of house operations, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for audiences, staff, volunteers, and visiting companies.
Your key areas of responsibility as Duty Manager will be:
- To create a welcoming environment for visitors, customers and staff.
- To resolve any problems customers experience with box office or front of house services.
- To maintain an active and professional front line service presence, delivering extraordinary care and service in all duties.
- To act as Duty Manager for the building, taking equal part in the Duty Management rota to support the work of the Operations Team.
This is a fixed term contract until 31 December 2026.
