RequirementsYou will have a Manual Handling certificate
ResponsibilitiesYou will carry out various disciplines of Playground Inspections/Maintenance within the Environment Department ensuring the required standards of workmanship are achieved.
The IndividualYou will have an understanding of play equipment health and safety legislation and an awareness and compliance with health and safety procedures/ requirements and risk assessments. You will have a responsibility for resources.
You will have the ability to lead a team and motivate staff. You will be able to drive/operate all relevant plant, eg, compact tractor, pick-up and van. Demonstrable knowledge of manual playground maintenance and installation duties, good communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to undertake manual outdoor working in all weathers and basic IT skills are also essential.
You will be committed to producing a quality service with strong customer focus and have working knowledge of plant/equipment and current best practice in Parks or a similar environment Customer service and team working skills are essential.
You will have current driving licence.
