Senior Cost Manager – Glasgow

We are looking for experienced Cost Managers in Glasgow who are ready to develop into a senior role. You will work on leading infrastructure projects across transportation, utilities and highways, gaining exposure to a range of sectors and the opportunity to advance both technically and operationally.

• Establish friendly, professional relationships with clients, colleagues and other project stakeholders.
• Administer a variety of contracts in line with project objectives and corporate policies.
• Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion in accordance with budget.
• Pro‑actively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring timely and accurate applications.
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams on deliverables, KPIs, programme performance, cost control and value engineering.
• Manage contract change effectively, maintaining governance and adopting best practice.
• Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and budget precision.
• Offer commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders.
• Ensure final accounts are negotiated and agreed.
• Lead people and commission activities as required.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in Contract Management (NEC3, Option C preferred).
• Strong cost and change management capabilities.
• Knowledge of valuation, risk management, procurement, estimating, pricing and reporting.
• Collaborative approach with a best‑for‑project attitude and a willingness to share best practice.
• People and commission management experience.
• Ability to identify and drive efficiencies throughout the project life cycle.
• Deep understanding of construction industry technical matters, including procurement routes, value management and engineering.
• Ideally a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Ideally holding or pursuing membership in an appropriate professional body.
