Assembly Operator

Overview

Assembly Associate - Dundee - £14.20 - £28.40

We are looking for candidates with experience in electrical assembly processes, including cable assembly and soldering. Strong dexterity, hand-eye coordination, numeracy and IT skills are essential. Applications from individuals with transferable skills from hobbies or interests are welcome.

• Assemble small components using soldering and crimping techniques (hand and with automated equipment).
• Follow detailed work instructions and production schedules.
• Test and fault-find to ensure quality and product functionality.
• Work across various production processing stages; after training you may be matched to producing different end-user products.
• Work closely with and be supported by team members to meet daily and weekly production targets.
• Be willing to work extra hours when required to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to safety procedures.
• Provide a 3-year background history and complete a basic disclosure check if required.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to demonstrate numeracy and IT skills.
• Willingness to learn and to undertake training; ability to adapt to new processes.
