Overview
Saw Operator – £31,000 per annum (including shift allowance) – Temporary ongoing position with potential for permanent employment. You will be part of a small, fast‑paced production team in a modern manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities- Follow drawings and work orders to cut materials to size and correct thickness.
- Check materials and carry out quality checks, including first‑off inspection with tape and micrometers.
- Stamp and label finished goods.
- Use overhead cranes as required.
- Previous machine‑operating experience, ideally with metal parts and materials.
- Experience operating a Bar Saw, Band Saw, Chop Saw or similar.
- Ability to work from drawings and follow work instructions.
- Good IT skills and a teamwork orientation.
- Capacity to work in a fast‑paced, busy environment.
- Salary: £31,000 per annum (including shift allowance).
- Benefits: 33 days holiday, pension, onsite parking.
- Patchway / Cribbs Causeway, Bristol.
- Rotating shift pattern: 6 am–2 pm and 2 pm–10 pm, Monday to Friday.
