Assembly Operator
Location: Dundee
Pay Rate: 14.20 per hour, Overtime also available at time and a half and double time
Contract Type: Temporary (Ongoing Opportunity with potential permanent employment)
Shift Pattern - Dayshifts (either 7am - 3pm or 8am - 4pm), weekdays only with early finish on Fridays

About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for Assembly Operators to join a well-established and highly respected manufacturing organisation in Dundee. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a clean, modern, and quality-driven environment where precision and attention to detail are key.
You will play a vital role in the production of high-quality components, working as part of a supportive and structured team while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities Precision Assembly- Assemble small, delicate, and often intricate components to exact specifications
- Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to ensure accuracy in every build
- Follow detailed written, diagrammatic, and visual instructions
- Ensure consistency and compliance with strict manufacturing processes
- Carry out visual inspections and quality checks throughout the assembly process
- Identify and report defects or inconsistencies to maintain production standards
- Adhere to all on-site health & safety procedures and policies
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment in line with company expectations
- Work both independently and collaboratively to meet daily and weekly targets
- Take ownership of your own output, ensuring quality and efficiency
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly is highly desirable
- Experience handling small or electronic components would be advantageous
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail are essential
- Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards
