Become a Volunteer Mentor – The Girls’ Network
The Girls' Network is looking for women volunteers aged 25+ to become mentors for girls attending schools across Redcar and Cleveland.
It provides 1-to-1 mentoring and workshops to build confidence, challenge societal stereotypes, and help them recognize their potential for a brighter future.
Role DescriptionCould you help a local girl build confidence and explore her future?
You don’t need any previous mentoring experience.
The Girls’ Network welcomes women from all backgrounds and industries, whether you’re employed, retired, self‑employed or returning to work. Your experiences could help inspire the next generation.
The Girls’ Network provides full training before you begin, ongoing support throughout the programme, and all the resources you’ll need to feel confident in your role.
Purpose of the RoleAs a mentor, you’ll be matched with one girl and meet with her for six monthly sessions, helping her explore her strengths, think about future opportunities and build confidence in herself and her abilities.
