Comic Relief is seeking a consultant to facilitate and lead collective learning for the Tackling Harmful Norms Fund aimed to support organisations to use a Sports for Change approach to shape and influence the norms and values of young people, thereby addressing the root causes of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). The programme aims to test a Sport for Change approach as an innovative approach (in a UK context), drawing on learning from successful interventions Comic Relief had previously supported in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia.

The Learning Coordinator will be tasked to:

  • Сo-create and facilitate a space for peer-learning on approaches, successes/challenges, good practice, etc.
  • Build relationships between organisations and foster connections and networks
  • Identify shared learning needs across common and cross-cutting issues around collective learning objectives
  • Create opportunities for reflection as a group throughout the programme that focuses on practical real time learning.
  • Document and analyse evidence generated by the collective learning space and shared by funded partners that speak to whether and how Sport for Change approaches are addressing the root causes of violence against women and girls.
  • Showcase evidence and learning by producing externally facing learning products that speak to relevant audiences in the sector, such as funders, and contribute toward building a body of evidence of good practice in the UK.

We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace. We strongly encourage people of colour and people with a disability to apply to this role.
