An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to lead delivery of the Transforming Roles (TR) programme and Non‑Medical Prescribing (NMP) governance across NHS Tayside. This is a key leadership role at a time of significant change, supporting the modernisation of nursing and midwifery roles and ensuring organisational readiness for Advanced Practice regulation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead implementation of national Transforming Roles recommendations
- Support development and governance of advanced practice roles
- Strengthen NMP governance, assurance and prescriber oversight
- Enable workforce planning, role redesign and career pathway development
- Contribute to organisational readiness for future regulatory requirements
You will be an experienced nurse educated to Masters Level with strong leadership, clinical credibility, and a sound understanding of advanced practice and non‑medical prescribing. You will be skilled in influencing, collaboration, and leading complex programmes of work across services.
Requirement:
Registration on Sub‑part 1: RN1 or RNA or Sub‑part 2: RN2 of the UK NMC Register.
