Mixed Veterinary Surgeon – Small, Farm & Equine (SA 60%, LA 30%, EQ 10%)

Salary: £40,000–£55,000 per annum (Pro-rata)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time or Part-Time (25 hours, 3 days/week)

Overview

A thriving, long-established mixed veterinary practice in the picturesque Scottish Borders is seeking a skilled and passionate Mixed Veterinary Surgeon. With a caseload comprising 60% small animals, 30% farm animals, and 10% equines, this role offers a diverse and engaging clinical experience with scope to pursue special interests and further specialisation.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality veterinary care across small, farm, and equine animals.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships with a loyal and appreciative customer base.
  • Pursue personal areas of interest within your clinical work, with full support for specialisation.
  • Participate in on-call duties one night per week, with support available.
  • Contribute to the practice’s ethos of progressive, patient-focused veterinary care.
