Veterinary Receptionist

We are looking for a warm, organised, and enthusiastic part-time receptionist to join our welcoming and supportive team.

As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you’ll play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer care in a busy, fast-paced environment. This role would suit someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys working with people, and can remain calm and compassionate under pressure.

Our recently refurbished practice is conveniently located within walking distance of Kirkintilloch town centre, with excellent bus and train connections from Glasgow city centre. Free on-site parking is available for staff.

The practice features modern, air-conditioned facilities including a spacious reception area, five consulting rooms, two theatres, a prep and recovery area, isolation facilities, digital x-ray, dental suite including dental x-ray, and a dedicated laboratory.

Situated on the scenic banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal, the marina location offers beautiful walking routes along the canal and former railway line—perfect for breaks or after work.

Our knowledgeable team comprises 11 vets, two holding GP certificates in small animal surgery and one holding a certificate in feline medicine, with three more currently studying for medicine certificates. The nursing team comprises 5 experienced RVNs. We also have an animal care assistant and 6 dedicated support staff.
