SHEQ Advisor
Bournemouth/Bristol | £52,500 + Car/Car Allowance
We are seeking a proactive SHEQ Advisor to join a leading water infrastructure delivery team, providing expert guidance across multiple sites within the South West Water regions. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to influence safety culture and operational standards on prominent projects.
Your key responsibilities will include:- Supporting the management of SHEQ risks and overseeing incident investigations and corrective actions
- Conducting audits and assurance visits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Assisting in delivery of SHEQ improvement plans and monitoring their effectiveness
- Engaging with project teams to embed safe working practices and behaviours
- Analysing safety data and reporting on trends to identify areas for enhancement
- Comprehensive knowledge of UK health, safety, environmental legislation, and construction (Design and Management) Regulations (CDM)
- Experience implementing or auditing SHEQ management systems such as ISO 45001 or OHSAS 18001
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Relevant professional qualification (e.g., NEBOSH diploma or equivalent) and a full UK driving license
