Retail Sales Assistant - Mac Alpine Road Shop, Dundee, DD3 8RE

Shifts will change week to week and include weekends (rostered). Must be available for 5am start times.

Working hours:

16 hours per week (additional hours possible) between 5am and 5pm, any 4 days from 7.

Hourly pay up to £12.93 plus benefits.

We use traditional baking methods to produce the finest, freshest, mouth‑watering products, which we sell in our own Bakery Shops.

Our purpose is to provide customers with moments of joy, guided by our values of Customer Focus, Respect, Continuous Improvement & Sustainability.

• Prepare and serve customers with a range of hot and cold bakery and food‑to‑go products.
• Set up and maintain counter and window displays in line with guidelines.
• Process customer pre‑orders, payments, and paperwork.
• Accept payments using electronic tills (cash and card).
• Stock shelves with products.
• Answer queries from customers and give product advice.
• Report discrepancies and problems to the management team.
• Clean shop and facilities.

• Previous food retailing experience / Food to Go.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Positive, resilient attitude.
• Cash handling experience / working touch screen tills (training provided).
• Flexibility to work between Monday and Sunday, any 4 days from 7.
