Ready to combine your passion for the dairy industry and proven sales ability to drive farm profitability with an industry-leading genetics company? This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and relationship-focused sales professional to join a leading bovine genetics business covering the North of England. Working closely with progressive dairy farmers, the Livestock Technical Sales Consultant will play a key role in improving herd performance and farm profitability through industry-leading genetics, breeding advice, and herd improvement solutions, while managing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities across the region.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships across a designated sales territory
  • Conduct regular on-farm visits to understand customer needs and provide tailored breeding advice to improve herd performance
  • Drive sales growth across the product portfolio by converting leads, developing new customers, and expanding existing accounts
  • Manage customer accounts and sales records while delivering high levels of customer service and satisfaction
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the customer base and strengthen market presence
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the wider business to support sales initiatives and enhance brand presence
Qualifications

Essential
: A strong knowledge and understanding of dairy systems.

Required Skills
:

  • Proven experience in a direct-to-farm sales/account management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised, able to manage own diary
  • A relationship builder, able to build long-lasting business relationships with farming customers
  • Self-motivated with a good level of commercial acumen
  • A collaborative team player
  • Solution-focused and target driven
  • A clean driving licence and the willingness to travel daily
Pay range and compensation package

A competitive salary and benefit package including company car, commission, BUPA health scheme, pension, phone and laptop commensurate with successful candidates level of experience.
