Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

  • Ensures all personnel under their supervision have undertaken the appropriate site training and are in possession of a valid SIA license or LDN to meet industry requirements.
  • Liaison with the Operations Support team, in support of rostering and forward planning of all direct reporting Officers ensuring sufficient cover for holidays, sickness, absences etc.
  • Monthly welfare meetings completed with all direct reports, proactively monitoring performance, maintaining positive employee relations and ensuring coaching, counselling and any investigations are carried out in line with company policy and procedures as necessary.
  • Monitoring and managing the appearance and behaviours of all Security personnel, taking remedial action as appropriate and in line with company policy and procedures.
  • Actively encourage staff recognition and staff nominations for awards.
  • Assignment Instructions and site documentation kept up to date.
  • All incidents are reported in compliance with customer and company policy and procedures.
  • Assist the Security Management Team in developing and sharing of “best practice” and use of systems and tools to improve client excellence, service delivery and effectiveness.
  • Planning, development and implementing staff training, including both routine duties and emergency procedures.

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • A valid SIA licence.
  • The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluently speak, read, write and understand English.
  • Effective time management, able to deliver tasks on time to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Experience with following up on feedback to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Pro-active approach, confidence to suggest and organise better ways of frugal working.
  • Required ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures.
  • Demonstrates ability to adapt and quickly learn unfamiliar areas of business.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and influencing skills. Able to negotiate and deal with sensitive and confidential matters with tact and discretion.
  • Adaptable and responsive in the face of changes in priorities, plans and schedules.
