🚀 Lead AI Solution Engineer – Audio & Video AI

Outside IR35 | Remote (UK) | 6-Month Contract – Up to £700 a day

We’re looking for a Lead Solution Engineer with hands‑on experience in audio and video analysis using AI/ML to help extend and enhance our AI Operating System.

This role focuses on delivering production‑grade, multimodal AI solutions across defence, legal, health, infrastructure, and consulting sectors—turning complex audio/video data into actionable intelligence at scale.

You’ll lead rapid prototyping through to deployment, working directly with clients to design architectures that combine LLMs, speech, vision, and retrieval pipelines into secure, real‑world systems.

• Design and deliver AI solutions for audio & video understanding – transcription, speaker diarisation, event detection, content moderation, semantic search, and summarisation
• Build and integrate Python‑based APIs and media processing pipelines for AI‑driven platforms
• Develop systems using speech‑to‑text, vision models, embeddings, and multimodal LLMs
• Design and deploy agents using frameworks such as Lang Graph, Llama Index, or OpenAI AgentSDK
• Implement evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and reliability testing for multimodal AI outputs
• Apply AI across RAG, Graph
  
  RAG, knowledge graphs, and vector databases for media retrieval
• Work directly with clients to translate operational needs into scalable, secure architectures
• 5+ years as a Software Engineer / AI Engineer with real production experience
• Proven delivery of audio or video AI solutions (e.g., ASR, computer vision, media analytics)
• Experience with one or more of:
• Speech models (Whisper, wav2vec, speaker diarisation)
• Multimodal LLM workflows
• Familiarity with agent frameworks, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation
• Ability to lead architecture decisions and client engagements
