Drivers Mate

As a Driver’s Mate based in Dundee, you will join a two‑person crew delivering flat‑pack furniture and home goods to customers across Fife, Inverness, Aberdeen, and occasionally Glasgow. This full‑time temporary role at the Dundee depot offers £13.27 per hour. You will work five days out of seven, including weekend shifts on a rotational basis, completing 20–30 deliveries daily.

Hours:

5 days per week, 06:00 start, 8–12 hour shifts, rotating weekends.

• Assisting with two‑person home deliveries, primarily flat‑pack furniture.
• Delivering to customers across Fife, Inverness, Aberdeen, with occasional routes to Glasgow.
• Completing 20–30 deliveries per day, depending on route and mileage.
• Using handheld Mobile POD devices to accurately record proof of delivery.
• Working with vehicles fitted with 360° camera systems.

• A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle manual lifting as part of a two‑person delivery team.
• Reliability and flexibility to work weekends on a rotating basis.
