HGV Class 1 Driver – Dundee – £16.00–£17.89 Per Hour People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client, one of the country's largest independent retailing and distribution companies, based in Dundee . This is a fantastic opportunity offering £16.00 per hour Monday to Friday, £17.89 per hour on Saturdays, weekly pay, regular ongoing work and overtime opportunities.

You will be joining a busy transport operation completing deliveries and collections across designated routes. £16.00 Monday to Friday | £17.89 Saturdays | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Overtime Available | Backshift Available HGV Class 2 driving work is also available. This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, CE Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver or HGV Delivery Driver.

Shifts
• Monday to Saturday, followed by Monday to Friday
• Start times between 04:00 and 10:00
• Backshift also available Rates of Pay
• Monday to Friday: £16.00 per hour PAYE
• Saturday: £17.89 per hour PAYE
• Holiday pay accrued separately

• Paid site induction Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Completing deliveries and collections across designated routes
• Driving Category CE articulated vehicles safely and efficiently
• Unloading deliveries into customer premises
• Ensuring loads are correctly secured before transportation
• Completing pre-shift and post-shift vehicle checks
• Following planned routes and delivery schedules
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintaining regular communication with the transport team
• Complying with Drivers' Hours, Tachograph and Road Traffic Regulations
• Providing a professional service to customers Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need:
• Valid UK Category CE (Class
1) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Good communication skills
• Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Tachograph Regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable Experience
• Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Experience completing deliveries and collections across multiple locations Training Provided
• Driver assessment required before starting
• Paid site induction
