Join a leading public sector organisation in Dundonald, renowned for delivering vibrant community sports services and engaging local facilities. As a Bowling Control Clerk (Scale
3), you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the busy Tenpin Bowling Centre, providing excellent customer experiences and operational excellence.
- £13.69 per hour
- Temporary role with 22 hours per week

About you- Minimum of one year's experience in a customer-focused environment
- Proven experience dealing with the public
- Skilled in recording and maintaining information accurately
- Experience using electronic point of sale systems
- Desirable:
First Aid at Work qualification, leisure industry experience, reception duties including IT systems proficiency
- Operate the POS terminal in a fast-paced, customer-centric setting
- Manage lane allocations, bookings, and pricing to optimise income and ensure smooth operations
- Handle cash, reconcile takings, and prepare lodgements
- Maintain and clean bowling lanes and surrounding areas for events and leagues
- Coordinate and oversee leagues, tournaments, and special events
- Supervise customer service staff on shift, ensuring excellent service delivery
- Assist with staff training, rotas, and team meetings
- Support health & safety compliance and report potential risks
- Respond confidently to customer needs, including administering First Aid when qualified
- Contribute to the delivery of the centre's programme and undertake additional duties as required
