Position: RF-2512-34 - Cleaning Operative

Mount Charles Group is one of the largest privately owned soft facilities management, catering and ancillary service/product providers in Ireland. We are recruiting a Cleaning Operative to join our team at Dundonald Ice Bowl.

Working Pattern
:

  • 12 hours per week
  • Tuesday 17:00 - 21:00 and Sunday 13:00 - 21:00
  • Free on‑site car parking

The Role:

  • Ensure all areas (offices, kitchen and rest areas) are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards, including weekly and periodic tasks.
  • Use cleaning chemicals safely as detailed by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health guidelines (COSHH).
  • Maintain full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, materials and agents and use cleaning equipment as directed by the Line Manager only after correct training is given.
  • Report immediately any equipment that is faulty, mark it as faulty and do not use it.
  • Ensure safety signage is used appropriately at all times, e.g. wet‑floor signs, and warn customers where possible.
  • Keep cleaning stores clean and tidy and store equipment correctly and safely at all times.

Basic statutory training will require all candidates to have basic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in understanding safety and work instructions and communicating with customers on a day‑to‑day basis.
