37.5 hours per week

Shift Pattern

Rotational rota (issued 2 weeks in advance):

• 6:00am – 2:00pm
• 2:00pm – 10:00pm
• 10:00pm – 6:00am

Enhanced Pay:

• After 8pm & Saturdays: £17.22 per hour
• Sundays: £21.55 per hour

About the Role

We are recruiting a Security / Car Park Assistant to provide a professional, customer-focused service within a healthcare setting.

You will play a key role in maintaining safety, supporting staff and patients, managing car parking, and responding to security incidents , while upholding the highest standards of care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol site (on foot and vehicle) to protect people and property
• Respond to incidents including security alerts, disturbances, and alarms
• Assist staff and patients, ensuring a safe environment at all times
• Monitor and manage car parking and traffic flow
• Report incidents, faults, and security breaches
• Maintain accurate logs and complete incident reports
• Operate CCTV (training provided)
• Provide support with portering and site duties when required
• Liaise with PSNI where necessary
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Trust policies

Essential Criteria

• Must be 18 years or over
• Minimum 2 years’ previous security experience
• Full UK driving licence (manual)
• Strong awareness of safety and security procedures
• Professional, calm, and reliable approach
