Business Analyst - Unemployment Insurance

This role involves formulating and defining system scopes and objectives based on user needs and industry requirements. Candidates must be willing to work onsite at GSI's headquarters in Palm Harbor, Florida daily.

The ideal candidate will have prior BA experience in an IT/software setting, be organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills. They should be capable of managing multiple projects and working with various teams and stakeholders.

• Analyze business and user needs, especially related to third-party interfaces, and document requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, business leaders, and development teams to ensure project scope and dependencies are clear.
• Translate business requirements into system specifications for technical teams.
• Identify and implement business and system process improvements.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical audiences.
• Assist with validation and testing of interfaces.

• Proficiency in MS SQL Server and query techniques.
• Understanding of SDLC and project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and experience interfacing with clients and internal teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field preferred.

• Knowledge of application programming, database, and system design.
• Understanding of network architectures.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.

May require visiting client sites or attending conferences.
