The role

We are looking to hire a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor at our Rosyth Office, Scotland.

The role requires no prior knowledge or experience we provide full training and support to help you obtain qualifications in:

  • P402 – Surveying and Sampling Strategies for Asbestos in Buildings

As a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor, you will be accompanying qualified professionals on site to:

  • Carry out asbestos surveys, management and refurbishment and demolition type surveys
  • Create reports and advise clients on H&S recommendations and asbestos management
  • Build and maintaining customer relations, and occasionally help manage site contractor

You will help carry these activities out while learning the correct procedures under the current legislation, using tablets to record your findings and build reports and site drawings.

Skills and Essential Requirements
  • UK driving licence required
  • Have effective communication skills and the ability to liaise with contractors
  • Have a strong work ethic
  • Have strong IT skills
  • Be flexible in your approach to working hours
  • Be self‑motivated and able to work as part of a team
  • Be competent in literacy and numeracy to construct accurate reports
