Working closely with the Customer Service team, you'll play a key role in coordinating enquiries, managing administration processes, and ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient service.
The Role As Customer Service Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the customer service function, ensuring enquiries and requests are handled promptly and effectively.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing administrative support to the Customer Service team and management. Managing customer enquiries via phone, email and internal systems. Coordinating works with approved contractors and suppliers. Scheduling appointments and arranging follow-up visits where required. Maintaining accurate records, databases and customer information. Monitoring shared inboxes and ensuring all correspondence is actioned within agreed timescales. Processing documentation and updating company systems accurately. Assisting with departmental reporting and tracking service-related costs.
Building positive relationships with customers, subcontractors and internal departments. Conducting customer follow-up calls to ensure issues have been resolved and service standards have been met. About You We're looking for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. You will ideally have:
Previous experience within an administration, customer service or coordinator position. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. A professional and friendly telephone manner. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload. High levels of attention to detail and accuracy. Confidence communicating with both customers and contractors. The ability to work independently whilst contributing positively to a wider team.
