We are currently looking for a Supplier Quality Inspector/Expeditor to join our team in Dunfermline. In this role you will support the timely delivery, development and surveillance of suppliers in accordance with Company policies, procedures and department objectives.

Must be willing for regular travel across the UK.

Your main accountabilities will be to:

• Identify and lead implementation efforts of Supplier Quality objectives that improve quality, reduce lead time and cost of Technip
  
  FMC products/services.
• Attends Witness and Hold points on behalf of Technip
  
  FMC, performs inspections at the suppliers as part of source inspection and drop shipment processes
• Execute Enhanced Surveillance and Expediting processes at the suppliers
• Contributes in Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance Technip
  
  FMC processes
• Conducts HSE walkthroughs and assessments, promotes HSE culture in supply chain

• Substantial industry experience in production, technical or quality departments
• Time Management - prioritizing business critical issues to ensure agreed delivery dates and terms and maintained and ability to manage deadlines/prioritize workload
• Good understanding of engineering documentation, abilityto read and understand engineering drawings, documents and procedures to imporve and maintain quality and deliverables
• Good organization and project planning skills
• Team player and capable of working on own initiative
• Strong communication skills with an analytical mindset
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications and SAP
• Experience in Oil and gas industry
• NDE, Welding experience and certifications
• Ability to lead change and independently create and implement functional and cost effective processes that meet complex specification requirements
