Product Engineer

Escape Recruitment is working with a leading engineering manufacturer in Dunfermline to recruit a Product Engineer
. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly technical engineering environment where you will take projects from initial concept through to production
, working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

This is a varied role combining engineering design, technical support and project coordination
. You will be responsible for developing customised harnessing solutions while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within specification and to the highest quality standards.

• Design and develop products from concept through to production
• Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates and delivery plans for customer quotations
• Provide technical support to internal teams, production and external customers
• Select and define components during the design and quotation stages
• Produce and maintain manufacturing documentation
• Support product and process optimisation initiatives
• Coordinate project activities and monitor progress through regular reviews
• Act as the technical point of contact for customers during development projects
• Collaborate with engineering teams across the wider organisation
• Carry out problem solving and technical troubleshooting
• Occasionally visit customer and supplier sites to support projects

• HND or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Materials Engineering
• Experience with CAD and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive approach to problem solving and engineering development
