Graduate CAD Technician; AutoCAD​/REVIT

In this role, the successful Graduate CAD Technician or similar will be responsible for the design and development of technical drawings, as well as making adjustments to pre-existing drawings, ensuring they adhere to both company standards as well as customer requirements. In addition, you will also be responsible for Engineer, Customer and Client liaison, making certain design requirements are understood, offering technical advice/support as and when required.

On top of this, you will also be responsible for assuring you are compliant with project timelines, submitting all drawings in line with project deadlines, working both autonomously as well as part of a team. Finally, you will be responsible for attending site visits where necessary.

The ideal Graduate CAD Technician or similar will have a background within Construction/Civils/Groundwork/Geo-Environmental/Structural Engineering sector or a related field. In addition, you will also have prior practical experience working with a variety of CAD packages – having a specific proficiency within AutoCAD, and ideally, but not essentially, REVIT. On top of this, you will also have a previous knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages (word, excel etc…).

Also, you will have strong organisational and communicational skills – with the confidence to liaise with a range of Third Parties. Finally, you will also hold a full, valid UK driver’s license.
