We are a team of enthusiastic and collaborative planners, designers, environmental consultants, engineers and health & safety professionals. Our client base includes public and private sectors. We have grown significantly over the last few years and now employ 200 individuals across the UK. Key Responsibilities- Undertake Structural and Civil engineering structures design works including buildings and bridges, foundation design and other structural and temporary design
- Support senior engineers with calculations, reports, drawings and technical documentation
- Learn and apply relevant standards including British Standards and Eurocodes
- Produce drawings and sketches for practical, constructable design solutions
- Undertake site visits including asset inspections and construction support
- Develop an understanding of construction methods and sequencing
- Assist in preparing design deliverables for clients and contractors
- Work collaboratively with engineers, clients and contractors
- Learn best practice for quality assurance, health & safety compliance and commercial awareness
- Any other appropriate task
- Good understanding of engineering fundamentals
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Proven team working skills
- Full UK driving license with flexibility to attend client sites
- A degree, or expected degree, in Structural or Civil Engineering or an equivalent related degree (Bachelors or Masters)
- Desire to gain Professional Qualification with the Institution of Structural Engineers or Institution of Civil Engineers
- The role may require travel (including occasional overnight stays) across the UK and overseas, depending on project requirements
- Legal right to live and work in the UK is required
