Head of Financial Projects

As the Head of Financial Projects, you'll oversee the modernisation of financial operations and ensure the smooth running of accounting and finance processes within the not-for-profit sector. Based in Dunfermline, this role supports the organisation by managing budgets, financial reporting, and compliance.

• Lead the financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
• Manage the organisation's cash flow and financial forecasting.
• Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Supervise and develop the finance team, ensuring effective performance.
• Collaborate with other departments to align financial strategies with organisational goals.
• Work with external auditors to manage the annual audit process.

• Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Experience in financial management within the not-for-profit sector would be advantageous but not required.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to lead and develop a finance team effectively.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Daily Rate of £250 - £300 dependent on the level of experience.
