NHS Fife Psychology Service is a large, friendly and supportive place to work. We provide a service to the whole of Fife that includes all the major clinical specialties. We have an excellent reputation for innovation and developing staff.
We would like you to join our supportive and well established Adult Mental Health Psychology team. We are looking for people with initiative and enthusiasm who will join us in ongoing evidence-based service redesign and development to best meet the needs of our patients.
This post will provide clinical sessions across one or more of our Fife localities, delivering a range of interventions within a tiered approach to service delivery and contributing to the transformation of psychological care across Fife. The post will be based either in Lynebank hospital, Dunfermline or Stratheden Hospital, Cupar, depending on clinical need. Our AMH Psychology team includes Clinical & Counselling Psychologists, Clinical Associates in Applied Psychology, CBT therapists, Psychological Intervention Assistants, Assistant Psychologists and trainees, and is led by Consultant Clinical Psychologists.
There will be opportunities to develop your clinical expertise and for research and service evaluation to support service developments. You will have access to regular clinical and managerial supervision. We have an active in-house CPD programme as well as access to external CPD.
This is an opportunity to join a large area-wide Psychology Service that includes all the major clinical specialties. It has well-established links with the Universities of Edinburgh, Stirling and Dundee and provides placements for DClinPsychol trainees, trainees doing a range of clinically-based Masters programmes and the Enhanced Psychological Practitioner courses.
