Supply Chain Administrator

We are looking for a Supply Chain Administrator to join the Tsurumi Pumps UK team and support the efficient day-to-day operation of our supply chain activities. This role would suit someone with some previous experience or background knowledge in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, stock control or a similar environment , who is looking to develop their skills and take on further responsibility.

You don't need to know everything from day one. We are looking for someone who understands the basics, is organised and proactive, and has the willingness to learn and adapt to our processes and way of working. The Details

Hours:

8:00am – 5:30pm, with a 10:00am start on one fixed day each week Salary: £29,000 per annum, plus performance-based bonus

Key Responsibilities Act as the primary point of contact for suppliers, managing queries relating to purchase orders, product availability, lead times, dispatch dates and product defects. Raise and manage purchase orders for stock and non-stock goods and services. Monitor outstanding purchase orders and obtain order confirmations, delivery updates and revised lead times from suppliers. Analyse sales history, stock levels and reorder requirements to support effective purchasing and maintain appropriate inventory levels.

Coordinate the goods-in process, ensuring deliveries are accurately checked, received and allocated correctly. Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, shortages, damaged goods and other inventory-related issues. Maintain accurate inventory data, including creating new items and updating existing product and stock information. Coordinate customer returns and credits, working with Sales, Warehouse and Finance to ensure these are processed accurately and efficiently. Ensure Supply Chain transactions and information are accurately recorded in accordance with company processes and procedures.

Work closely with Sales, Warehouse, Finance and other departments to support the efficient flow of goods and resolve supply chain issues. Maintain a clean and tidy working environment and comply with Health & Safety requirements in both office and warehouse environments. Contribute as an individual and as part of the Tsurumi Pumps UK team to achieving the objectives of the role.

Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your Line Manager. About You You will ideally have some experience in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, stock control or a similar role , together with good organisational and communication skills.
