About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced registered mental health nurse (RMN) to become part of the nursing ward management team within Ward 4, Queen Margaret Hospital.
Ward 4 is an 18‑bed mixed‑sex ward, providing ongoing assessment to older adults with organic mental illness.
ResponsibilitiesYou will be confident in dealing with a wide range of clinical situations and supporting team members and associated professionals to provide the best care to service users and optimise teamwork within the ward.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate leadership skills with significant experience of working within adult mental health in‑patient services. The successful applicant will be self‑motivated and committed to person‑centred care, professional development and quality improvement.
QualificationsApplicants should be educated to degree level or have equivalent skill gained through experience.
Experience of leadership within adult mental health is essential.
Applicants must become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
